• This is a remote position. • We are seeking an experienced General Litigation Paralegal with broad exposure across commercial, criminal, and civil litigation matters within the Australian legal system. • The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of litigation processes, legal research, and document preparation and be able to support attorneys efficiently in fast-paced legal environments. • Assist lawyers in all stages of litigation, from pre-trial preparation through post-trial procedures. • Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, affidavits, briefs, and discovery materials. • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and legal articles relevant to Australian jurisdictions. • Support client communications, managing case-related correspondence and scheduling. • Help coordinate court filings, ensure compliance with deadlines, and track litigation calendars. • Work across multiple legal domains including commercial disputes, criminal defense, and civil proceedings. • Maintain organized case files, digital records, and legal databases.
• Paralegal certification or relevant legal qualification; a degree in Law is advantageous. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in Australia, with exposure to litigation across at least two of the following areas: commercial, criminal, and civil. • Familiarity with Australian legal systems, court procedures, and legal terminology. • Proficient in legal research platforms and litigation support tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Prior remote legal support experience is a plus.
