📋 Description

• Provide legal advice on diverse commercial matters, especially litigation, disputes, and general commercial work • Draft, review, and finalise contracts ranging from intricate agreements to straightforward contracts • Negotiate agreements and engage in dispute resolution to safeguard the firm's interests • Work with founding partners and other teams to identify legal needs and develop feasible solutions • Conduct in-depth legal research and produce comprehensive reports • Monitor developments in commercial law, particularly litigation and conveyancing, with focus on the Australian jurisdiction • Assist in structuring and streamlining workflows and document management processes • Work directly for two core partners at a partner firm in Australia

🎯 Requirements

• LLB degree is mandatory • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial law • Experience primarily focused on litigation, disputes, and general commercial work • Experience negotiating complex and simple agreements • Experience in conveyancing is advantageous • Master's degree or a degree from an Australian institution is advantageous • Proven ability to work proactively and independently • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively with a remote team in a partnership-led setting • Focused knowledge of commercial law in the Australian jurisdiction
