• Monitor traffic quality across hundreds of dealership websites. • Analyze traffic patterns to identify bots, crawlers, spam, and invalid sessions. • Partner with the Analytics team to ensure accurate GA4, server-side tagging, and event collection. • Work with the Launch team to validate analytics implementations before websites go live. • Verify CDN and Akamai Bot Management configurations are correctly deployed on new launches. • Develop dashboards that measure human traffic versus automated traffic. • Create and maintain allowlists for search engines, OEM integrations, uptime monitoring, and approved third-party services. • Investigate unusual changes in traffic, conversions, engagement, or attribution. • Configure and optimize Akamai Bot Management policies while minimizing false positives and maintaining a seamless user experience. • Validate cookie consent, tracking pixels, GTM/server-side GTM, and analytics configurations. • Ensure marketing campaigns and reporting are not impacted by invalid traffic. • Analyze HTTP requests, headers, cookies, referrers, user agents, IP reputation, and behavioral signals to classify traffic. • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure bot traffic is excluded from reporting and downstream data platforms. • Develop documentation, launch checklists, and standards for traffic quality validation.
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Server-Side GTM • Understanding of CDN platforms such as Akamai or Fastly • Hands-on experience with Akamai Bot Management, including Client Reputation, Content Protector, and traffic classification • Experience with dashboards (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana) • Knowledge of HTTP, cookies, browser behavior, headers, and JavaScript • Experience investigating analytics discrepancies and attribution issues • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
