📋 Description

• Own quality across a React Native mobile application and a Next.js web experience backed by Java/Spring Boot services and a Node BFF • Execute manual and exploratory testing for web and mobile releases • Use browser developer tools to diagnose and localize issues • Debug React Native applications on real devices, simulators, and emulators • Analyze Datadog logs, dashboards, error tracking, and session replay • Test REST APIs, authentication, authorization, role-based access, service-to-service behavior, data pipelines, retries, idempotency, and edge cases • Write actionable bug reports with reproduction steps and supporting evidence • Build and maintain regression suites and release checklists • Increase automation coverage and use AI-assisted tooling for test generation, log analysis, and investigation • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design throughout development and release cycles • Report test coverage, defects, and release risk • Define team standards for test coverage, bug intake, triage, and release readiness • Verify fixes and promote continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work in and be located in Mexico • Comfortable using browser developer tools to inspect JavaScript errors, network requests, payloads, status codes, headers, storage, and device emulation • Experience testing and debugging React Native applications on real iOS and Android devices, simulators, and emulators • Ability to read native device and crash logs and use React Native debugging tools • Experience designing and building automated test suites from scratch using Playwright for web and Maestro for mobile • Experience with Postman or comparable API testing tools • Basic SQL, specifically Postgres, and comfort reading structured application logs • Familiarity with Datadog or a comparable observability platform • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions • Active use of AI tooling in day-to-day work • Nice to have: TypeScript and React knowledge • Nice to have: Jest and Testing Library knowledge • Nice to have: Optimizely or LaunchDarkly • Nice to have: Segment, Mixpanel, or Braze • Nice to have: Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics • Nice to have: Jira and test case management tools • Nice to have: accessibility and performance testing • Nice to have: Gatling, Artillery, or comparable load testing tools • Nice to have: TestFlight, Play internal testing, and over-the-air update knowledge
