📋 Description

• Analyze and identify bottlenecks related to application instability and scalability issues. • Provide technical solutions and strategies to address bot attacks, application failures, and monitoring gaps. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize critical workflows impacting system performance. • Lead efforts in improving infrastructure monitoring and alerting working closely with tools like Datadog. • Develop and maintain robust Ruby on Rails microservices and APIs to enhance platform stability. • Implement fault tolerance mechanisms, including auto-restart scripts and failover processes. • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices. • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team. • Assist in new feature development alongside production issue resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development. • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra. • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures. • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms. • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure). • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare or similar). • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog. • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills. • Experience working in agile development environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms is a plus.
