📋 Description

• Develop functional test scenarios and test scripts based on handover meetings and discussions with technical leadership to understand requirements. • Execute manual test cases, including database manipulation to create test data and validate data. • Log and track defects in Azure DevOps, describing reproduction steps, expected behavior, and actual behavior. • Perform UI testing, validating functional behavior, usability, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. • Execute basic REST API tests, validating response status codes, payloads, and simple business rules. • Support the review of requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure adequate test coverage. • Update and maintain test cases as features evolve. • Collaborate with developers and QA professionals to understand deliverables and validate implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields. • Experience with functional testing of web applications. • Experience working in Agile environments. • Knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing. • Understanding of the software development life cycle. • Practical knowledge of web applications, including front-end and back-end systems. • Basic understanding of Java. • Experience testing APIs using Postman. • Knowledge of defect-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps. • Familiarity with version control using Git. • Knowledge of SQL databases. • Experience with test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools. • Preferred qualifications: exposure to enterprise systems or complex business rules; introductory software testing courses; CTFL certification.
