• Lead and oversee the grid connection strategy • Develop a current and forward-looking view of grid connection constraints (MV and HV) and their impacts on projects and on the Group’s trajectory • Define and implement strategies to reduce the risk of long and costly connections across the Group’s project portfolio, working closely with Development management (e.g., assess the feasibility of investing in private primary substations in specific locations) • Conduct studies to optimize connections for large projects • Propose design changes (layouts, sizing, equipment selection, storage integration, etc.) to account for connection constraints and opportunities • Maintain technical and regulatory expertise on connections, monitor developments and anticipate changes in support of the Group’s renewable and storage development, engineering and construction teams • Continuously improve internal connection processes: tools and methods for project risk assessment, sizing and costing, pre-study and connection request workflows with DNOs/TSOs, etc. • Participate in information and working groups on connections (including within renewable energy associations) • Lead a network of key stakeholders on the subject, especially within DNOs and TSOs (and also engineering consultancies, suppliers, etc.), to support monitoring and facilitate project connections
• Engineering degree • Minimum 5 years’ experience in grid connections or electrical engineering in renewables or storage • Strong knowledge of the French power system, public investment schemes (S3R, etc.), and Enedis and RTE connection procedures • Proficiency with network capacity information sources (Capareseau, ETF, Enedis open data, etc.) • Experience with simulation software such as PSS®E and DIgSILENT PowerFactory is a plus • Excellent data analysis, problem-solving and synthesis skills • Strong coordination, reporting, decision‑facilitation, and negotiation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Forward-looking mindset: ability to anticipate regulatory and technological developments • Good written and spoken English
