📋 Description

• Ensure continuous on-site presence during the execution of buried civil engineering works, particularly to monitor the execution of the works and record changes resulting from specific site conditions; • Verify the contract documents provided; • Prepare large-scale drawings of unforeseen details not anticipated in the final design drawings but required for construction; • Provide written technical advice on issues arising during construction that require consideration, with or without site visits; • Review shop drawings and manufacturer drawings to ensure they comply with contract requirements, for recommendation purposes; • Prepare and dispatch correspondence related to construction works; • Make recommendations to the CITY regarding approval of equivalencies for construction materials or equipment; • Provide civil engineering consultation on projects involving the supervision of municipal infrastructure works.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a licensed engineer registered with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in site supervision; • Have completed three (3) pavement construction supervision projects during the last eight (8) years; • Hold an ASP Construction Card (preferred).
