📋 Description

• Support the planning and execution of Canadian international and non-US income tax operating strategies • Monitor International Tax developments and implement changes • Participate in all aspects of International Tax planning and compliance • Provide income tax provision support and monitoring for TELUS group subsidiaries • Assist in managing TELUS’ International Tax risk • Tax planning and compliance for Canadian outbound foreign affiliate investments • Support a broad range of internal initiatives as they relate to International Tax • Reviewing and analyzing corporate financial records • Preparing and/or reviewing business unit quarterly and year-end income tax provisions • Supporting the management of audits conducted by tax authorities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of International Tax experience • In-depth income tax knowledge and strong technical competence • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian income tax rules and filing requirements • Ability to analyze complex issues and transactions • Engaging communicator with strong verbal and written communications skills • Proactive planner with the ability to scope out difficult tasks • Effective team member able to work well in a cross-functional team environment • High degree of professionalism, integrity and ethics • University degree and CPA designation (great-to-haves) • Completion of CPA Canada’s In-depth Tax program (great-to-haves) • Strong financial accounting knowledge (great-to-haves) • Skilled in income tax preparation and research software, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint (great-to-haves)
