📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, providing technical direction, coaching and support. • Design, build, deploy and monitor scalable, high-quality software systems supporting Ten’s global member base. • Collaborate with Product, Data and Platform teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. • Drive frequent, high-quality software releases aligned with product priorities and business objectives. • Champion a DevOps and “you build it, you run it” mindset across the full product lifecycle. • Maintain high engineering standards focused on automated testing, reliability, performance and measurable quality. • Monitor and analyse engineering metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ensure system health and performance. • Evaluate and select technical solutions while balancing scalability, performance, complexity, cost and other trade-offs. • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on engineering approaches and technologies. • Partner with Product to shape the technical vision and build industry-leading products and services. • Continuously improve engineering practices and processes while encouraging innovation, collaboration and ownership.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent English (C2 proficiency) – Essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams, providing technical direction and supporting team development. • Strong experience building and optimising systems for performance, scalability and reliability. • Excellent hands-on proficiency in Python. • Strong experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform. • Hands-on experience with DevOps and infrastructure tooling, including CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes (K8s). • Experience with observability and monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog. • Proven experience building, deploying and monitoring distributed systems, across both frontend and backend environments. • Hands-on experience working with multiple data stores, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. • Demonstrable experience using AI to empower engineering teams and accelerate the software development lifecycle. • Experience building AI agents and workflows, including autonomous systems or multi-agent architectures. (Desirable) • Experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks, such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Hugging Face and OpenAI APIs. (Desirable)
