📋 Description

• Modeling, simulation and testing renewable energy resources and controls • Hardware-in-the-loop testing and validation of protection and control systems using real time digital simulator • Interconnection impact studies for renewable power plants • Power quality for utilities and wind/solar power plants- voltage/current unbalance, flicker, voltage sag, harmonics, Fault analysis, Transient overvoltage studies • Manage, develop, champion, and enforce work processes, documentation, procedures, guidelines, schedules, priorities, and technical specifications for all projects • Advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence for controls and controls-related systems and equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related. • Ability to communicate with team members and business partners. • 7+ years of IEC 61131-3/PLC programming experience, including structured text and function blocks. • 3+ years of power plant control systems experience. • Experienced with Storage and Hybrid control systems. • Extensive knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus-TCP, DNP3, OPC-UA, IEC 61850 and ICCP. • Experience with SCADA systems is a plus. • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously. • Lead Continuous Improvement/Lessons Learned program. • Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. • Travel, 10%
