📋 Description

• Own the test strategy end-to-end across the SDLC • Build and own test coverage using established open-source testing tools • Define testing strategy, write test cases, and automate tests • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so tests run on every meaningful change • Write and maintain test cases and test plans as the product evolves • Plan and run integration, system, regression, stress, load, and performance testing • Partner with developers to define acceptance criteria and shift testing left • Triage failures and drive root-cause analysis on escaped defects • Drive durable fixes and report actionable quality signals including coverage, flake rate, and escaped defects • Assess current test coverage and identify high-leverage gaps during the first 90 days • Establish a lightweight process for triaging failures and preventing repeat defects

🎯 Requirements

• Strong test automation skills, with a track record of designing test strategy and automating it on top of established open-source testing tools • Deep, practical understanding of the SDLC and where testing fits at each stage • Proven experience writing test cases and test plans • Hands-on experience across integration, system, regression, and stress / performance testing • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication skills and ability to make a clear, persuasive case for quality • Strong experience with Python, JS/TS • Familiarity with open-source testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, pytest, k6, or Locust • Exposure to testing cloud or containerized Kubernetes workloads • Experience supporting a SOC 2 or similar compliance program by producing test evidence • Background in enterprise or regulated environments • Experience in early-stage environments with broad testing ownership
