📋 Description
• Own product design end-to-end — from definition through handoff to engineering • Build the design system from scratch • Design interfaces for complex financial workflows: invoice processing, bank reconciliation, period-end close management • Work alongside the engineering team during implementation and ensure design fidelity in production • Participate in client conversations to validate design decisions with real users • Contribute to the visual direction of the product as it evolves toward a more conversational AI model
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of product design experience • Portfolio that demonstrates visual judgment and product thinking — not just polished screens, but design decisions grounded in business context • Experience with SaaS or fintech products with high information density interfaces • Ability to operate as the sole designer in a small team with no prior structure • Figma proficiency • Fluent conversational English • Startup experience or genuine appetite for that pace • Use of AI tools in your workflow is a plus
