• Design and oversee civil engineering projects related to land development, public works, site infrastructure, and utility design • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and other design software to create engineering plans, models, and construction documents • Prepare grading, drainage, roadway, and utility plans in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Provide technical guidance and recommendations on design feasibility and cost-effective solutions • Perform site grading, earthwork, access road, stormwater, hydraulic and hydrology calculations, detention pond, erosion and sedimentation control, infrastructure, and parking lot design • Draft various types of survey plans • Create as-built and foundation surveys to verify construction against proposed plans and zoning requirements • Draft road inventory surveys showing topographic features, rights-of-way, and utility locations • Write legal descriptions and prepare exhibit maps for property transfers and easements • Process field data to draft wetlands descriptions and delineation maps for compliance and permitting • Review drawings and survey drafts for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and state standards before final sign-off
• Civil Engineer with verifiable experience in Land Surveying and Civil 3D • Experience in Drainage/Sewer Systems or related field • Ability to interpret topographic and boundary surveys for project planning and design • Advanced spoken English is mandatory • Advanced reading and understanding of specialized survey drawings • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and other civil engineering design software • Experience preparing preconstruction surfaces and models in Civil 3D/AutoCAD • BIM modeling experience is a plus • Knowledge of Grading Plans is mandatory • Knowledge of Drainage Plans and calculations is mandatory • Knowledge of Storm Utility plans and calculations is mandatory • Knowledge of Water utility plans and calculations, including drawings • Knowledge of Sewer utility plans and calculations, including drawings • Strong understanding of zoning laws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills • Knowledge of Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS/HMS, and Microsoft Office • U.S. citizenship or a U.S. work permit is asked about for eligibility • Must have own computer (laptop/desktop) with internet access • Must provide a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English
