• Directly supervises and leads a high-functioning team of risk placement professionals. • Responsible for the overall function of marketing, underwriting, and placement of new business accounts submitted by the Sales Team and the consistent quality output of the Risk Placement team. • Maintains and fosters a positive working relationship with insurance carrier marketing, underwriting and support staff. • Fosters effective communication and information-sharing with Business Insurance Service staff and management, Business Insurance Sales staff and management, and Senior Management.
• 5-7 years of Commercial insurance experience • Comprehensive experience and thorough understanding in all areas of Commercial insurance • Active license in Property/Casualty • High School degree or GED equivalent • College degree preferred • General computer knowledge, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, and internet navigation.
