📋 Description

• Independently manage a portfolio of complex, high-exposure CGL claims • Conduct thorough investigations and timely coverage analysis • Interpret complex indemnity and hold harmless agreements, evaluate additional insured coverage • Lead and execute litigation strategy by partnering with and directing defense counsel • Negotiate and resolve high-severity claims • Identify and pursue risk transfer and subrogation opportunities • Collaborate with internal partners and external experts

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10+ years of casualty claims experience with an insurance carrier • Experience handling claims with significant exposure ($250K–$1M+) • Proven ability to lead litigation strategy and negotiate high-value settlements • Advanced knowledge of coverage interpretation and multi-jurisdictional legal frameworks • Strong financial acumen, including reserving, expense management, and indemnity control • Ability to make independent decisions and exercise high authority levels on complex claims • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
