📋 Description

• Independently manage an assigned caseload, ensuring each legal matter progresses efficiently according to the firm’s workflow, priorities, and filing deadlines. • Dynamically prioritize cases based on upcoming filing deadlines, urgent client circumstances, case age, and firm-wide targets. • Maintain accurate, real-time updates in CampLegal, Asana, Google Drive, and all applicable case trackers. • Document all substantive client communications, case developments, and follow-up efforts on the same business day. • Proactively monitor USCIS, EOIR, NVC, CEAC, and other agency correspondence to ensure that receipts, RFEs, NOIDs, interview notices, and deadlines are addressed immediately. • Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting immigration petitions, motions, waivers, and specialized applications. • Conduct rigorous, substantive reviews of immigration forms, supporting evidence, client declarations, cover letters, and assembled filing packages. • Identify factual inconsistencies, missing evidence, potential eligibility concerns, and case-specific risks, escalating them promptly to the supervising attorney. • Maintain consistent, empathetic communication with clients to request outstanding documents, forms, signatures, declarations, and approvals. • Schedule appointments and prepare clients thoroughly for USCIS interviews, court appearances, consular processing, and other immigration-related hearings. • Partner seamlessly with various internal teams to resolve case blockers and prevent unnecessary delays. • Actively participate in case strategy discussions, team meetings, firm trainings, and continuous quality-improvement initiatives. • Assist with the training, onboarding, and guidance of junior team members when requested.

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual Fluency: Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish is strictly required (written and verbal). • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal handling VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, family-based adjustments, waivers, and I-751 petitions is highly preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Experience managing high-volume cases using CampLegal, Asana, and Google Workspace. • Laser Focus & Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, sharp analytical abilities to spot case inconsistencies, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality. • Cultural Alignment: A deep, demonstrable commitment to the firm’s DREAM values (Dedication, Resourcefulness, Empowerment, Accountability, and Mission-Driven).
