• Act as external ambassador on behalf of the Enterprise’s St Louis based headquarters • Analyze and monitor critical state government trends, proposed legislation, regulations and industry issues • Represent The Cigna Group’s interests with state elected officials and regulators • Collaborate with sales and account teams to support clients by providing government relations expertise • Manage relationships to facilitate and strengthen company influence • Manage special projects, developing action plans and managing completion
• 4-year college degree • At least 7+ of experience in legislative analysis, lobbying, and/or direct regulatory interaction or equivalent experience • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and manage multiple competing priorities • Demonstrated ability to manage retained counsel and trade and business association relationships
