📋 Description

• The Senior Manager, Transportation is responsible for leading the strategic and operational direction of the transportation function to ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant delivery of goods across the supply chain. • This role partners cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external carriers to optimize transportation networks, drive continuous improvement, and support customer satisfaction. • Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with business goals, reduce costs, and improve service levels across all modes of transport. • Lead carrier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation services. • Manage and mentor a team of transportation professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (DOT, FMCSA, etc.) and company policies, while proactively managing transportation risks and disruptions. • Leverage transportation management systems (TMS) and analytics to monitor KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • This role will require 20 % domestic travel.
