• Ensure flawless execution of store‑level sales and promotional plans with customer retailers across the assigned territory • Drive incremental sales by executing retail strategies, maintaining 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items, ensuring best‑in‑class merchandising, and developing strong customer relationships • Utilize data‑driven insights, pre‑call planning, and consultative selling techniques to influence Key Decision Makers (KDMs), improve store performance, and maximize merchandising opportunities • Build and maintain strong consultative business relationships with Key Decision Makers (KDMs) to execute detailed action plans that improve sales results • Prepare for retail sales calls by analyzing relevant store, product, and market data to create effective selling tools and presentations • Engage in consultative selling techniques to secure incremental orders, optimize product placement, and maximize promotional opportunities • Execute the Retail Execution Plan by maintaining permanent secondary displays, addressing out‑of‑stocks, and ensuring new items are placed correctly • Complete all required administrative responsibilities including reporting activities, expenses, promotions, and competitive insights using approved technology • Influence, negotiate, and coach store personnel to execute Hershey’s merchandising standards • Recommend strategies to improve territory efficiency and participate in advocacy partnerships as needed.
• Post-secondary education required • 1-3 years experience preferred • Personal auto insurance meeting minimum government liability requirements • Must reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory • Strong understanding of sales techniques within consumer‑packaged goods • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment • Detail‑oriented with innovative problem‑solving skills and initiative to meet objectives • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad technology • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a repetitive basis • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
