📋 Description

• Oversee all accounting operations across two entities: e-commerce and manufacturing • Design and implement robust processes for AR, AP, payment management, vendor management, invoice approval, and scam/fraud prevention • Develop accounting policies and internal control procedures in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards • Manage month-end and year-end closing, financial statements accuracy, and internal/external audits • Evaluate, propose, and implement accounting systems, tools, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy • Lead, train, and support the accounting team to ensure alignment and effectiveness across processes and platforms • Collaborate with finance, operations, and management to ensure timely and consistent financial reporting • Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations • Act as a key point of contact for banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred • 8+ years of accounting leadership experience, ideally across both e-commerce and manufacturing sectors • Proven experience with IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards • Strong knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP, payments, vendor management, invoice approvals and audit procedures • Experience creating and implementing accounting policies, controls, and process improvement initiatives • Demonstrated history of preventing and managing financial fraud or vendor-related scams • Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to mentor and guide accounting teams • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
