📋 Description

• Oversee accounting operations across a group of e-commerce companies and a separate manufacturing entity • Design and implement processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment management, vendor management, invoice approval, and fraud prevention • Develop and implement accounting policies and internal control procedures compliant with U.S. GAAP standards • Manage month-end and year-end closing, financial statement accuracy, and internal/external audits • Evaluate, propose, and implement accounting systems, tools, and automation solutions • Lead, train, and support the accounting team across processes and platforms • Collaborate with finance, operations, and management on timely and consistent financial reporting • Monitor cash flow and reconcile accounts • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations • Act as a key contact for banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders • Perform other tasks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • CPA or equivalent qualification preferred • 8+ years of accounting leadership experience, ideally across e-commerce and manufacturing sectors • Proven experience with IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards • Strong knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP, payments, vendor management, invoice approvals, and audit procedures • Experience creating and implementing accounting policies, controls, and process improvement initiatives • Demonstrated history of preventing and managing financial fraud or vendor-related scams • Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems, such as QuickBooks or similar • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to mentor and guide accounting teams • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
