📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive OT assessments to confirm the injured worker’s current level of functional ability and activities of daily living (ADLs) through standardized testing and/or self-report, while also gathering relevant psychosocial information (e.g., mental health history, coping strategies, and trauma considerations) that may impact function and recovery. • Attend program rounds and case conferences to contribute assessment findings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals) in developing recommendations and care planning. • Conduct return to work (RTW) planning, and 1-1 occupational therapy treatment for a range of mental health conditions. • Collaborate closely with colleagues, as well as third-party funders. • Complete detailed assessment and progress reports within 5 business days. • Provide such other services as may be reasonably required by the Company, and as mutually agreed upon.

🎯 Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required. • An active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) is required. • Professional liability insurance is required. • A minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting clients with mental health conditions, including assessment/triage and treatment, is required. • Experience working with third-party funders is an asset. • Experience working with pain management is an asset. • Equivalencies may be considered. • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is required. • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is also required.
