📋 Description

• Oversee daily line management responsibilities for assigned clinical operations teams • Provide coaching, mentoring, professional development, and performance management • Manage induction and orientation programs for new employees • Maintain staff CVs, training records, position profiles, and experience profiles • Support local resourcing and project/functional lead activities • Escalate issues that may affect project deliverables • Deliver training on WPDs, SOPs, local requirements, and clinical operations topics • Identify training gaps and ensure training requirements are met • Participate in process improvement and development initiatives • Facilitate the risk-based monitoring approach • Alert management to quality issues and request QA audits as appropriate • Support audit responses from direct reports and project teams • Review CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity systems to evaluate metrics, KPIs, and project status • Conduct PAVs remotely or on-site to evaluate employee monitoring skills and project conduction • Manage hiring, selection, job descriptions, goals, corrective actions, separations, time records, expenses, leave, and overtime • Collaborate with senior management and executive staff on strategic planning and business development • Address team resourcing needs with the leadership team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous experience comparable to 0 to 5 years • 1+ year of leadership responsibility • Full right to work in Germany • Fluency in German and English (C1 level) • Ability to travel frequently to domestic and international site locations • Knowledge of clinical operations, monitoring modalities, and risk-based monitoring • Experience with Working Practice Documents (WPDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Experience using CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity systems • Ability to manage staff, performance, training, resourcing, quality, and project metrics
