• Meet customer requirements using suitable resources • Perform on-site installation of complex equipment and follow testing procedures • Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits • Provide assistance in resolving and fixing issues • Develop positive working relationships with customers and company personnel • Complete technical training and specialist training • Proactively seek learning opportunities • Work informally with applications engineers • Travel to client sites to resolve issues • Complete and submit field service reports • Collaborate with colleagues for technical mentorship
• University degree or equivalent experience in electronic system fixing • Approximately 3 years of hands-on technical experience installing, repairing, and calibrating complex analysis tools • Comprehensive background in analyzing and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems • Ability to partner optimally with customers • Professional working proficiency in English • Literate in MS DOS and Windows software environments • Ability to read and interpret schematics • Familiar with UHV phenomenon and technology • Valid passport and ability to travel regionally and internationally • Valid driver’s license • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
