📋 Description

• Serves as SME on NERC Reliability Standards; including providing internal guidance training • Leads implementation and improvement of the NERC compliance program • Identifies and manage compliance risks; design and oversee controls • Coordinates with third-party contractors supporting NERC compliance • Conducts gap analyses, report findings, and maintain documentation • Manages audit responses, investigations, and mitigation plans • Monitors evolving NERC and Regional Standards; ensure internal readiness • Supports internal alignment with ISO/RTO compliance requirements • Contributes to industry standards development and voting processes

🎯 Requirements

• 6-10+ years of corporate compliance and operational NERC compliance for grid infrastructure, BESS, energy storage, or utility-scale renewable energy electric transmission systems • Corporate asset based operational NERC compliance experience dealing with utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage or energy storage projects • NERC Compliance experience with RSAWs, audit processes, and compliance monitoring/reporting tools • Strong track record developing/implementing NERC compliance programs that deal with NERC, FERC, Public Utility Commissions (PUCs) and other Reliability organization standards, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines • Well versed in compliance resolution and root cause analysis for compliance break downs • Experience with and knowledge of current ISO/RTO standards, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines preferred • An understanding of national energy power markets - PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and WECC is beneficial
