📋 Description

• Database Management: Design, install, configure, and maintain databases. • Ensure data integrity and quality. • Monitor database performance and implement improvements. • Security: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard databases. • Control access permissions and privileges. • Performance Tuning: Perform database tuning and optimization. • Regularly monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues. • Backup and Recovery: Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans. • Ensure data is properly backed up and can be restored efficiently. • Support and Maintenance: Provide support and resolve database-related issues. • Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures. • Development and Implementation: Work with application developers to ensure database changes adhere to best practices. • Design and implement new database schemas. • Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain monitoring and reporting tools. • Regularly review and analyse database performance reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator. • Experience with database management software (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server). • Strong knowledge of database structure, theories, principles, and practices. • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO). • Proficient in database security, backup, and recovery processes. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
