📋 Description

• Research, write, and maintain clear, current, practical legal content for online publication • Review and edit content written by colleagues and external expert contributors • Monitor legal, practice, and market developments • Support development of Thomson Reuters' AI-powered legal solutions • Support development and application of internal AI editorial tools • Develop and maintain understanding of the legal market, customers, emerging needs, competitors, and business strategies • Interact with customers, consultation boards, and contributors • Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and technology functions • Attend training events, conferences, and talks; network with customers, potential customers, and industry leaders • Help develop Practical Law Spain and Practical Law more generally • Provide specialist legal expertise to the wider Thomson Reuters team

🎯 Requirements

• Spanish qualified lawyer (abogado/abogada) • Must be Spain bar qualified • At least 5 years' post-qualification experience working as an employment lawyer in a law firm or in-house in Spain • Substantial experience of Spanish employment law • Excellent writing and communication skills in English • Fluency in written and spoken English • Passion for writing about legal practice accurately, concisely and in plain English • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively independently and in teams • Strong technical skills and ability to utilise various tools, including generative AI technologies • Adaptability and flexibility to work on diverse projects and tasks within generative AI and emerging technologies • Experience of using AI tools in legal work • Excellent knowledge of online research databases • Comfortable working with ambiguity and in a matrixed environment • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with diverse teams • Proficient translation skills from Spanish to English and vice versa (desirable)
