• Supervise, coach and support the team of engineers and drafters • Participate in business development • Prepare bids for various projects • Collaborate with directors of other departments (civil, structural, process) • Design and prepare building mechanical plans and specifications • Prepare client proposals for the building mechanical department • Provide technical support to the project team • Contribute to project planning, coordination, and overall management • Ensure technical quality and adherence to schedules and budgets • Improve the department’s internal processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualification • 7–10 years of experience in a technical HVAC role • Technical knowledge of drainage, sanitary systems, plumbing, heat exchange and steam systems • Knowledge of sprinkler systems and refrigeration (asset) • Design experience • Team management experience (asset) • Experience in engineering consulting (strong asset) • Strong leadership and team mobilization skills
