📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data solutions tailored to business needs • Develop governance structures and access control concepts • Design, implement, and optimize robust data pipelines using Databricks or similar technologies • Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, including containerization and orchestration • Act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for customers • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions • Monitor and optimize data workflow performance, scalability, and reliability • Stay current with data engineering trends and apply innovative approaches to complex challenges • Continuously learn from and actively mentor colleagues within an agile, end-to-end development approach • Organize work, solve tasks, and constructively challenge the status quo

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, platforms, and data integration interfaces • Strong expertise in data modeling, including dimensional modeling and normalization/denormalization • Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms; Azure preferred, AWS or GCP equally welcome • Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and architectural patterns such as Medallion • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL • Solid software engineering mindset • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Consulting mindset with a customer-centric approach • Fluency in German at C1 level and English for stakeholder discussions • Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning in the data and AI landscape • High level of ownership and self-motivation • Ability to quickly dive into new topics and constructively challenge the status quo • Team player who takes action and demonstrates responsibility • Valid certifications in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and MS Azure are considered a strong advantage
