📋 Description

• Analyze and identify bottlenecks related to application instability and scalability issues • Provide technical solutions and strategies to address bot attacks, application failures, and monitoring gaps • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize critical workflows impacting system performance • Lead efforts in improving infrastructure monitoring and alerting — working closely with tools like Datadog • Develop and maintain robust Ruby on Rails microservices and APIs to enhance platform stability • Implement fault tolerance mechanisms, including auto-restart scripts and failover processes • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team • Assist in new feature development alongside production issue resolution

🎯 Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search • Experience with AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure) • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation (e.g., Cloudflare or similar) • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills • Experience working in agile development environments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms is a plus
