• Lead and support traffic engineering, signal operations/signal timing, and ITS design and integration projects. • Develop and implement strategies for arterial traffic flow and safety improvements. • Prepare system performance metrics, operational procedures, deficiency reports, and mitigation plans. • Collaborate with agencies on traffic signal and arterial system operation and maintenance. • Provide on-site signal timing implementation, tuning, and troubleshooting support. • Lead client coordination and stakeholder engagement. • Support business development and strategic growth initiatives in the region. • Mentor junior engineering and planning staff and contribute to team development. • Guide the definition and proposal development for new client needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) or PTOE certification (or IMSA certification) highly desirable. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transportation engineering or related discipline. • At least 3 years’ experience managing public sector engineering projects and teams. • Proven experience working with PennDOT or other public agencies in the region. • Proficiency in tools such as Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
