📋 Description
• Own Credit Strategy for Brazil: Develop and continuously refine credit policies for Tilt's Brazilian business, driving analysis to uncover novel insights that move our business forward. • Collaborate on Data Science: Partner closely with the Data Science team to influence and deploy models that solve meaningful business outcomes. • Build Scalable Infrastructure: Develop frameworks, infrastructure, and controls to manage credit programs with high quality and resiliency. • Drive Growth with Leadership: Work with Brazil and Tilt's leadership teams to build strategy and growth plans while managing financial outcomes. • Share Cross-Market Learnings: Partner with international credit and data science teams in the Philippines, Mexico, India, and the US to identify transferable strategies and help implement them. • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and finance leaders to ensure the team's work fits within the larger company picture. • Grow the Team: Hire talented analysts and team members to staff new projects as the Brazilian business scales.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics — a quantitative background is a strong plus. • 6+ years of industry experience in data analytics and credit risk management, ideally with experience in the Brazilian market. • Proven experience leading and developing a team of analysts. • Exceptionally strong problem-solving and communication skills — able to get deep in the weeds and present clearly to an executive audience. • Eagerness to learn new tools and analytical methods, staying current with innovative trends and emerging products in the industry. • Preference for candidates based in São Paulo.
