• Review flagged in-app messages, user profiles, photos and safety reports against Community Guidelines • Remove content, issue warnings, suspend or ban accounts • Handle user appeals fairly and document the reasoning behind every decision • Escalate complex, high-risk or novel cases to the Global Trust & Safety Manager • Log moderation actions accurately for reporting and audit trails • Flag recurring patterns, policy gaps, and classifier misses to Trust & Safety and Engineering • Participate in weekly calibration sessions to keep decisions consistent across the team • Complete preliminary questions, an introduction call, a practical case study, and a final interview as part of the recruitment process
• Previous experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, or a frontline support role is required • Fluency in English is essential • Sound judgement and consistency, even when reviewing hundreds of cases a day • Emotional resilience when exposed to sensitive content daily • Clear, calm written communication, especially when explaining decisions to users • Attention to detail and discretion with sensitive user data • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment • Experience with moderation or ticketing tools (Zendesk, Intercom, or similar) is a plus • Additional languages — French, Spanish, Portuguese or German — are a plus
• Remote freelance position • One-hour break included in the Saturday-to-Wednesday work schedule
