📋 Description

• Assemble and review comprehensive engineering design packages for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage). • Lead technical design of physical and electrical substation systems. • Prioritize engineering tasks and deliverables to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. • Participate in client meetings and site visits to collect or deliver design data. • Perform calculations and review preliminary design of facilities including transmission-related facilities. • Manage contracts, scopes of work, change orders, and project closeouts. • Mentor less experienced team members. • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. • Grow the renewable energy client base by leveraging industry relationships.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) registration strongly preferred • Minimum of 12 years of experience in distribution, substation, and/or transmission line engineering, with emphasis on substation design • Prior consulting experience preferred • Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
