📋 Description

• Support client’s tailings and mine waste management teams to ensure facility safety • Ensure compliance with evolving standards for ESG and Social License to Operate • Provide technical and operational support for Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs) • Apply geotechnical engineering tasks with expanding knowledge of hydrogeology, process, geochemistry, and civil engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or a related field of study • Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or a related field of study (preferred) • Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software (required) • Knowledge of numerical modeling tools (preferred) • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed (required) • Experience in GIS, CAD or Tailings Modelling software (i.e. QGIS, 12d, AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Muk3D) (desirable) • Familiarity with dam safety guidelines including ANCOLD, GISTM, CDA and WA-DMR (desirable) • Excellent writing and communication skills (required) • Valid Portuguese or Spanish driving license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
