📋 Description

• Participate in the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. • Lead periodic accruals for major cost categories (e.g., cloud, marketing, partner referral fees, professional services, etc.), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper classification. • Support the GL&Reporting leader in maintaining the general ledger, chart of accounts, and departmental structure, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing variance analyses and clear explanations for fluctuations. • Manage intercompany transactions, including recording, reconciliation, and reporting. • Assist with external audits and regulatory reviews by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. • Support the tax team leader in tax return preparation, compliance, and audits. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards across all reporting activities. • Participate in special projects as requested by management. • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects impacting the accounting function. • Partner with procurement and business teams to oversee the procure-to-pay process, including review and approval of purchase orders, vendor bills, and expense reports. • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes, driving improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. • Promote and adopt AI technologies within the Finance function to enhance automation and insights.

🎯 Requirements

• Bilingual: Proficiency in English (primary working language) and Mandarin Chinese. • 6+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting, ideally within SaaS or technology companies. • Passionate on adopting new technology including AI tools to automate processes and improve productivity. • Experience working in a global organization across multiple time zones (currently APAC and US). • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred. • CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required. • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of US GAAP principles. • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and motivated to solve problems and implement solutions. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
