📋 Description

• Own significant parts of the manager-focused product experience end to end • Build and launch Toggl 2.0, a consolidated planning, time tracking, and time intelligence product • Take projects from problem to production and own technical approaches for major features • Break work down, sequence it, and ship incrementally • Make technical decisions and manage tradeoffs • Keep work visible, flag risks and delays, and unblock work independently • Build fast, accessible, and readable planning views, dashboards, and reports for dense data • Design data models and API layers • Profile, measure, and improve slow queries and renders • Write maintainable code with appropriate test coverage • Shape product solutions and challenge requirements • Partner with product managers and designers, prototype early, and identify edge cases • Participate in user tests, review feedback, and use data to guide development • Conduct purposeful code reviews • Mentor engineers and participate in interviewing • Identify shared components and duplicated work across Product Tribes • Use AI tools for exploration, prototyping, code generation and review, debugging, research, and writing • Collaborate in team meetings scheduled between 11:00 and 16:00 UTC

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience building and shipping production web applications end to end • Ability to lead major projects • Comfortable across frontend and backend development • Deep practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern CSS • Experience with state management and side-effect handling in large applications • Strong backend fundamentals, including API design and relational data modelling • Proficiency in at least one backend language • Experience with relational databases and query performance • Willingness to adopt and quickly become comfortable with Golang • Experience with data-heavy product surfaces, performance, readability, and data visualization principles • Hands-on use of AI tools as a core part of development • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Willingness to contribute through code review, mentoring, and interviewing • Must be based between UTC-4 and UTC+4 • Nice to have: TanStack, frontend caching, eventual consistency, capacity planning, scheduling, reporting, complex B2B SaaS products, distributed or microservice systems, infrastructure/infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines
