📋 Description

• Become the subject matter expert for a particular service in cooperation with the relevant software team • Provide operational support for software deployments • Respond to production incidents • Develop infrastructure automation tools to eliminate manual effort • Detect and resolve potential problems before they degrade • Maintain high availability for managed services • Implement infrastructure solutions needed by product teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong background in Linux systems, including shell scripting and performance tuning • Excellent understanding of Internet technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL • Previous experience operating a large-scale, high-uptime environment • Coding skills in Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby, or another interpreted language • Knowledge of deployment and maintenance of web applications • Experience using a configuration management tool such as Ansible • Familiarity with general monitoring principles and tools such as Zabbix and New Relic • Advanced English • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00 Uruguay time
