📋 Description
• Designing and implementing intuitive navigation systems optimized for remote-control input • Participating in design and code reviews to ensure best practices • Assisting QA teams to define and validate acceptance criteria • Debugging and optimizing performance on low-resource environments • Integrating analytics, DRM, and playback tracking for OTT/streaming experiences • Continuously improving performance, startup time, and memory usage of TV apps • Adapting features and APIs per platform (webOS, Tizen)
🎯 Requirements
• Solid understanding of performance optimization for TV apps • Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflow (PRs, code reviews) • Good communication skills • Fast and able learner • Must be able to work in a team environment from outside of a corporate office • Working in an Agile environment • Strong debugging skills • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment • Attention to detail and user experience optimization • Experience with video ad integrations (IMA SDK, VAST/VMAP) • Knowledge of Node.js or Express for backend integrations • Experience with Redux, Zustand, or Context API for state management • Familiarity with analytics tracking tools (Comscore, Firebase Analytics) • Experience developing for other OTT platforms (Android TV, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV)
