📋 Description

• Develop and enhance enterprise applications using Java EE/Jakarta EE • Implement new features with a focus on quality, performance, security, scalability and code readability • Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of the solution • Collaborate with technical teams, product teams and business areas to build and evolve digital products • Support maintenance, modernization and transformation of enterprise applications based on Java EE • Analyze incidents and technical issues, identify root causes and propose consistent, sustainable solutions • Develop and maintain APIs, integrations and distributed services in a reliable and secure manner • Work on the presentation layer to maintain and evolve web applications using Angular 4+ and/or React • Write SQL queries and work with data manipulation, considering performance, integrity, security and best practices • Apply development patterns, version control, code review, automated testing and software quality practices • Work with application servers such as WildFly, Open Liberty/Liberty and similar • Contribute to technical improvements, automation, architectural evolution and continuous improvement of the development environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields • Professional experience in Java development in a corporate environment • Experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE • Knowledge of EJB, JPA/Hibernate, CDI, JAX-RS, JMS or JTA • Knowledge of developing and consuming APIs, integrations and distributed services • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases and query optimization • Knowledge of Angular 4+ and/or React • Experience with Git or other version control systems • Experience with unit and integration testing • Knowledge of secure development, software architecture and code quality • Ability to work in an organized, autonomous way with an analytical mindset • Advantage: experience with mission-critical systems, high availability or high transaction volumes • Advantage: experience in financial, banking, fintech or payments sectors • Advantage: experience in legacy system modernization • Advantage: knowledge of non-relational (NoSQL) databases • Advantage: experience with cloud and hybrid environments • Advantage: experience with observability, performance and advanced application diagnostics
