📋 Description

• Develop and evolve corporate applications using Java EE/Jakarta EE. • Implement new features with a focus on quality, performance, security, scalability and code readability. • Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to implementation, testing, release and ongoing support of the solution. • Collaborate with technical teams, product and business areas to build and evolve digital products. • Support maintenance, modernization and transformation of corporate applications based on Java EE. • Analyze incidents and technical issues, identify root causes and propose consistent, sustainable solutions. • Develop and maintain APIs, integrations and distributed services in a reliable and secure manner. • When required, work on the presentation layer to maintain and evolve web applications using Angular 4+ and/or React. • Create SQL queries and perform data manipulation with attention to performance, integrity, security and best practices. • Apply development patterns, versioning, code review, automated testing and software quality practices. • Work with application servers common in the corporate ecosystem, such as WildFly, Open Liberty/Liberty and similar. • Actively contribute to technical improvements, automation, architectural evolution and continuous enhancement of the development environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field. • Professional experience developing in Java within a corporate environment. • Experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE. • Knowledge of EJB, JPA/Hibernate, CDI, JAX-RS, JMS and/or JTA. • Experience developing and consuming APIs, integrations and distributed services. • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases and best practices for writing and optimizing queries. • Knowledge of Angular 4+ and/or React. • Experience with Git or other version control systems. • Experience with unit and integration testing. • Knowledge of secure development best practices, software architecture and code quality. • Ability to work collaboratively, with organization, autonomy and an analytical approach to problem solving. • Advantage: experience with mission-critical systems, high availability or high transaction volumes. • Advantage: experience in financial, banking, fintech or payment sectors. • Advantage: experience modernizing and evolving legacy systems. • Advantage: knowledge of non-relational (NoSQL) databases. • Advantage: experience with cloud and hybrid environments. • Advantage: prior work with observability, performance and advanced application diagnostics. • Important: experience with Java EE/Jakarta EE.
