• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet business objectives and grow the customer base for Topcon ophthalmic imaging equipment. • Prospect and qualify new potential clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals. • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for healthcare professionals to highlight the features and benefits of Topcon imaging systems. • Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions based on their requirements and budget. • Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotes, contracts, and financing options. • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements to achieve revenue targets. • Collaborate closely with clinical applications specialists, field service technicians, the installation team, and customer service representatives. • Perform basic installation of some equipment and provide comprehensive training to customers on its use. • Attend trade shows, conferences, and events, which may require occasional evening and weekend work.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience and track record of success in medical device sales, preferably in ophthalmic imaging or related healthcare technologies. • Good understanding of ophthalmology, optometry, and diagnostic imaging workflows. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical and financial information clearly and persuasively. • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets. • Availability to travel up to 80% of the time within the assigned territory and to attend conferences in Canada and the United States as required. • Ability to lift up to 80 lb (36 kg) for equipment installation and setup. • Hold a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a current passport.
