Coutances Tourisme is the official tourism office for Coutances and the surrounding 'Coutances mer et bocage' territory in the Manche (Normandy). It promotes local attractions, heritage and outdoor experiences (beaches, dunes, marées, Cathédrale de Coutances, nearby Mont Saint-Michel), maintains an events agenda and visitor guides, lists and helps book local accommodation and activities, and operates an online boutique and visitor services (brochures, accessibility info, ticketing). It targets visitors and residents with practical information, inspiration and support for travel planning.

📋 Description

• Maintain the operational status of the entire information system network, including the local area network (LAN) and enterprise network • Install and monitor network equipment • Manage incidents and service requests • Ensure data consistency, security, and maintenance • Perform system and database backups and restores • Ensure the security of networks and connected workstations • Manage the operation of internal email services and connectivity policies, particularly Wi-Fi • Coordinate and monitor technical projects related to network infrastructure • Contribute to the planning and implementation of IT projects, including audits and network mapping • Recommend adaptations aligned with organizational developments • Monitor technological developments • Report on project progress and challenges encountered

🎯 Requirements

• Level 5 qualification (formerly Level 3) in IT, telecommunications, and networks • At least 3 years of experience in an equivalent local government organization • Valid Category B driving licence required • Very good knowledge of IT tools and operating systems • Very good knowledge of network administration, particularly STORMSHIELD firewall administration • Knowledge of telephony systems • Very good knowledge of IT and network security standards and procedures • Knowledge of system environments and communication protocols • Knowledge of systems and network infrastructure monitoring tools • Knowledge of database monitoring tools • Knowledge of access rights and authentication • Proficiency in systems and network infrastructure monitoring tools • Proficiency in planning techniques and tools • Ability to diagnose issues • Ability to raise user awareness • Ability to lead and coordinate activities and assignments involving multiple technicians, service providers, and suppliers • Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with the budget allocated to the IT Master Plan and network projects • Patience, accuracy, and perseverance • Strong teaching skills and ability to manage stress • Responsiveness
