📋 Description

• End-to-end responsibility for industrial plant engineering projects across all phases – planning, permitting, construction, commissioning and handover – ensuring all targets for schedule, budget, cash flow, quality, safety, sustainability and transparent reporting. • Establish a strong project governance framework with clear responsibilities, effective decision-making and rigorous scope management, supported by integrated resource, budget, risk, quality and compliance management. • Coordinate all stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, authorities and service providers, and foster a transparent, trust-based project culture. • Lead interdisciplinary teams and ensure effective project delivery using EPCM, EPC or internal delivery models. • Advance innovative, sustainable and circular engineering approaches, including ESG monitoring and reporting. • Support strategic scaling through capacity planning, site assessments and the development of the long-term growth strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification. • More than ten years of experience managing complex, large-scale industrial plant projects with investment volumes over €100M. • Solid technical foundation in plant engineering, process engineering and production processes – ideally in the bioeconomy, chemical industry or related sectors. • Demonstrated success in delivering demanding projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards. • Strong communication skills and the ability to act confidently both internally and externally. • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with analytical strength and decisive decision-making – valuable when navigating complex and changing conditions. • Good understanding of legal requirements, technical standards and permitting procedures, as well as experience in risk management, change management and claims management. • Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style and an empathetic leadership approach that builds trust, motivation and ownership. • Advantageous: Experience with ERP systems, CAD tools and MS Project. • Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
