📋 Description

•Draft and update hospice regulatory policy content for incorporation into HealthCare ConsultLink online manuals •Research state and federal regulations, drafting appropriate policy content, and participating in regular monitoring for changes •Promote and maintain the integrity of HealthCare ConsultLink •Review industry regulations to understand and interpret the content and determine the need for agency policy •Using references from industry regulations, draft new policies to reflect requirements while providing applicability in the agency setting •Utilize critical thinking skills and judgement to understand the risks and downstream impact of changes to policies •Assist client agency contacts as needed with questions regarding HCL policies and applications in the agency setting •Monitor assigned regulatory sources for changes impacting policy manual content •Edit existing policies to reflect changes in state or federal regulations

🎯 Requirements

•Must possess a current RN license in the home state and be willing to apply for additional licensure in other states, as needed •At least five (5) years of experience in the hospice industry; additional experience in the home health industry is preferred but not required •Must have knowledge of clinical and regulatory hospice guidelines and have clinical application knowledge of core components and application of clinical best practices •Must be able to read and write in English and follow instruction •Possess reasonable knowledge in computer systems and be able to communicate both verbally and through written documentation •Must possess excellent writing skills, including appropriate use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation •Attention to detail and focus on regulatory correctness are required •Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is not required, but is preferred •Knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Microsoft Word; additional proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred •Ability to work remotely with a high level of self-discipline for meeting deadlines •Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally across all levels of personnel •Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision •Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the HealthCare ConsultLink team •Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto insurance
