📋 Description

• Review projects in the Workfront system and ensure documentation and necessary files are available • Enter project details in the PM Project Grade and Update sections • Create dummy mapping graphics using available imagery • Align and label graphical elements for future reference • Document project actions, decisions, and related email correspondence • Review dummy mapping graphics for accuracy and completeness and address corrections • Update project status in Workfront and communicate issues to stakeholders • Verify database completeness and accuracy • Integrate databases with existing dummy mapping graphics • Reference all points using database data and accurately plot them • Review and validate mapped points against project requirements and client specifications • Record issues and correspondence in descriptive notes and Workfront • Perform final quality checks and mark projects complete in Workfront

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical in Controls System/Automation or related field of study preferred • Entry-level position with no required experience; or equivalent combination of education and basic experience in the Controls field or engineering • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Trane Software tools • Proficient computer skills are required • Familiarity with the concepts of new construction and renovation/retrofit project types preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in point mapping or a related field • Experience with database integration and graphical mapping tools • Ability to comprehend, discuss, and apply new concepts in the HVAC controls industry • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, or other documents • Ability to draft reports and business correspondence • Ability to effectively analyze, conclude, and present information to team members • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner • Ability to produce high-quality work and/or services in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated high-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
