📋 Description

• Manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, training, and performance management • Oversee end-to-end AP process including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing • Ensure timely payment of vendors in accordance with payment terms • Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies • Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP • Support external audit requests • Oversee 1099 reporting and compliance • Optimize AP workflows and automation tools (e.g., ERP, AP software) • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and mitigate risk • Partner cross-functionally to streamline procurement-to-pay processes • Ensure accurate AP accruals and support month-end close • Provide reporting and analysis related to payables and cash disbursements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5–8+ years of progressive accounts payable experience • Strong knowledge of GAAP • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
