• Complete 1 short story of approximately 6,500 words • Submit a brief plot for approval • Submit the first 1,000 words of the story for review • Revise based on feedback received • Adhere to genre assignment based on preference
🎯 Requirements
• Residence in the United States • Idiomatic fluency in English (US) • Excellent writing skills in English (US) (grammar, spelling) • Graduate or undergraduate degree in literature, journalism, or creative writing and/or proven experience in journalism, writing, or content creation • Ability to start and complete tasks within the given deadline • Strong attention to detail • Submission of a portfolio with 3 writing samples (400–700 words each), including at least one in the preferred genre; samples may include published articles, blog posts, reports, or other relevant works that demonstrate writing ability and experience.
