📋 Description

• Drive the development and delivery of applications and services within TransUnion’s global platform ecosystem • Provide technical direction while leading and growing a team of engineers • Build a new engineering team in Costa Rica • Collaborate with teams across the US and India • Define and drive the technical direction, architecture, and design of applications and services • Lead the development of scalable, cloud-based solutions and platform components • Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security • Provide hands-on technical guidance to the team when needed • Drive end-to-end ownership of projects from design through delivery • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration • Collaborate with global teams across US, India, and Costa Rica

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 7+ years of experience in software development • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or people management roles • Proven experience leading teams with direct reports • Strong experience in: Application design and system architecture • Cloud-based development environments • Service-oriented architectures and APIs • Hands-on experience with .NET or Java (or both) • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Nice to have: Experience leading distributed or global teams • Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Experience working in platform or large-scale enterprise environments • Familiarity with AI tools used in software development workflows
